Apexon Brings Digital Transformation Services to UK Public Sector
Apexon has once again been accepted as a preferred supplier to the UK government’s cloud services procurement framework, G Cloud 11. This initiative is part of the UK government’s Digital Marketplace scheme that makes it easier for public sector organizations to procure products and services from pre-approved selected suppliers.
We are also working with the UK’s biggest public procurement organization, Crown Commercial Services as members of their Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 platform, which helps the public sector buy, design, build and deliver digital initiatives.
UK public sector buyers looking for digital engineering solutions can now easily access Apexon’s range of digital transformation services including cloud native services, data engineering, DevOps, functional testing, IoT testing, mobile testing, performance testing, security testing, service virtualization, test automation and UAT services.
Here is a snapshot of how we are transforming digital services for enterprises and the public sector in four of our core areas:
Cloud Native Services
As public sector organizations keep pace with the digital world, using cloud native environments is no longer optional, but necessary. Cloud native is so much more than hosting and accessing resources in the cloud. It is about being able to build, deploy and operate on all-cloud platforms, implement DevSecOps processes and tools and take advantage of serverless and microservices technologies.
Data Engineering
Apexon has deep expertise with data engineering, which involves utilizing data sourced in structured/unstructured form to detect trends in data sets. Apexon helps make disparate data more useful to public sector organizations and enterprises. By using advanced algorithms to turn data into actionable intelligence, organizations can provide better, faster access to services.
DevOps
In the age of digital, public sector bodies are under pressure to pursue DevOps initiatives in order to digitize and upgrade services. Public sector organizations are looking to adopt DevOps practices as the foundational step in delivering a CI-CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery) pipeline. As a result of our experience putting DevOps to work, Apexon helps organizations embed quality into digital development lifecycles: testing earlier, taking advantage of advanced automation, and speeding up release cycles. We have worked with many clients to implement DevOps, including one of the biggest nationalized banks in US.
IoT Digital Engineering
IoT creates a whole new set of development and digital engineering challenges for the public sector. It is a crucial enabler of digital transformation, but the technology presents several challenges for dev teams, including a plethora of new devices and other components, new communications protocols, complex integration requirements and new compliance considerations, to name a few. Apexon has strong expertise within the IoT space. Biosensor related projects and Human Subject Validation (HSV) are just a couple of the key areas in which Apexon helps clients with both thought leadership and overall solution delivery.
Thanks to Apexon’s inclusion in the G Cloud framework, we have been working with public sector organizations in the UK and globally to digitally re-engineer their services and embrace digital transformation. Apexon’s inclusion in the G Cloud framework is instrumental in enabling us to further expand our presence in this sector.
It is Apexon’s mission to help our customers get digital right, the first time. Thanks to the G Cloud framework, the public sector will be able to leverage quality engineering, DevOps and Agile by accessing the leading technology, processes and strategic advice Apexon offers. Our UK team has offices in London and, as well as our public sector expertise, is currently working across retail, financial services and healthcare sectors.
